Why the Pen? The Evolution of Research Delivery
For years, researchers relied on traditional manual methods that involved multiple steps, complex calculations, and, frankly, a lot of room for error. While effective, they lacked the elegance and consistency required for high-level metabolic studies.
The WLA Peptide Pen Kit was engineered to bridge that gap. By combining clinical-grade hardware with a user-friendly “click-and-dial” system, we’ve created a tool that offers:
- Unrivaled Precision: Each “click” represents a specific volume, ensuring that every research dose is identical to the last.
- Scientific Luxury: The weight of the pen, the tactile feedback of the dial, and the sleek finish signal that this is a professional-grade instrument.
- Streamlined Workflow: No more fumbling with individual syringes for every application. Once your cartridge is set, you’re ready for the week.
Technical Specifications: Under the Hood
When we talk about “The Gold Standard,” we’re talking about specs that stand up to rigorous research demands. Our pen system is designed around the standard U-100 logic, making it compatible with most high-purity research compounds.
The Pen Body
The heart of the kit is a reusable, mechanical dosing pen. It’s built to last, featuring an internal metal drive mechanism for consistent pressure and longevity. Unlike disposable alternatives, the WLA Pen is a permanent fixture in your research kit.
- Dosing Range: 1 to 60 units per injection step.
- Incremental Precision: 1-unit increments for micro-adjustments.
- Volume Logic: 100 units = 1.0 mL (Standard U-100 conversion).
The Cartridge System
The kit includes 3mL sterile glass cartridges. These are the “reservoirs” where your reconstituted peptides live.
- Capacity: Each cartridge holds up to 300 units of solution.
- Visibility: Clear glass allows for easy inspection of the solution to ensure it remains clear and free of particulates.
The Needles
Precision delivery requires precision needles. We recommend using 31G or 32G ultra-fine needles (5mm or 6mm) to ensure minimal resistance and maximum comfort during the research process.
